This year Ethan picked out his costume months in advance. We were not surprised when he chose Buzz Lightyear. He loves anything Buzz related! Just to explain the depth of his love for Buzz, every time Ethan watches Toy Story and the part where "B" jumps from the second story to see if he can fly, Ethan runs up to the TV, stretches his arms out and tries to catch Buzz. As if he can stop Buzz from falling. Despite his efforts, Ethan has not been able to catch Buzz. He is sad every time "B" breaks his arm.
He had A LOT of trial runs and naps in his costume. I couldn't deny him wearing it everywhere; he just looked so cute.
Last year Ethan wanted nothing to do with his costume and had a blast trick-or-treating. This year was completely opposite; he loved his costume and wanted nothing to do with trick-or-treating. When he got to the front door, he would close his eyes and pretend he was taking a nap. LOL!
He started to warm up toward the end and kept asking to go to the next house. I am so happy he came out of his shell.
As for Emily, she looked super cute in her sassy pants. She had a fun Halloween hanging out with her brother and cousin Michael. She is really starting to pay attention to what the boys are doing.
